A Few Things You Should Know

Everyone calls me by my last name eventually so don't try to fight it: no one knows who you're talking about when you say "Stephanie". I've been a Superstar, a Mariner, a Falcon, a Cougar, a Panther, and finally an Illini (whatever that is). My favorite smell is freshly cut grass. And Acqua di Gio. I cried the first time I went on a roller coaster. I'm a huge computer geek, bookworm, pop culture whore, grease monkey, and general nerd. When I was little, I used to read history and biology textbooks for fun. Now I just browse Wikipedia and the blogosphere for hours on end. I love Texas in all her glory, despite her imperfections. I say yall, curse indiscriminately, talk ten decibels louder than I should, and laugh at inappropriate times. Most of my stories are at least 80% true, although I must admit I do take some creative liberties. Except the one where Glen made out with Nina: that one is 100% legit. I enjoy symphony orchestras, great doses of irony, frozen Clementines, and Christmas lights hung indoors and year-round. I believe Sunday mornings are best spent lying in the sunlight and listening to jazz. I'm slightly obsessed with crossword puzzles. I adore magic realism, Michel Gondry, Half Price Books, scrolling shooters, Freebirds burritos, Chopin's Nocturne in Eb, being little spoon, witticisms, good hugs, driving with the windows down, and all-you-can-eat sushi. I'm still a little scared of the dark. I make lots of mistakes, but I have the best friends in the world and they forgive me anyways. Also, I never know how to end things...

And some activites:
procrastinating, mostly... wreaking havoc, finding adventures, driving aimlessly, hurling insults, talking to strangers, laughing so hard it hurts, daydreaming, reading on the quad, programming for eight hours straight, drinking too much, singing in the shower, sneaking into places I shouldn't be, taking photos, making the best of things...
